About Reach Educational Center

Our programs are personalized based on each child’s strengths and weaknesses.  The first step in our program is a comprehensive evaluation to measure the current level of a child’s academic skills.  The assessment tools used at our center are highly recognized standardized tests.  Based on the results, we then develop an educational plan that meets the your child’s unique needs.  A personalized plan using his/her strengths to develop new or weak areas is the key to our success.

Throughout the program, we provide and use formative evaluations to help children learn more effectively and to monitor progress against instructional objectives.  In addition, we provide and use a summative evaluation upon completion of the program to measure effectiveness.

Anabelle Valdes
Anabelle ValdesFounder & Tutor
My name is Annabelle Valdes. At an early age, I realized I had a passion for helping children. I went to Florida International University and was awarded a Bachelors Degree in Special Education. From 1997 to 2000, I was an educator in the Miami Dade County School System. Working as an educator, I realized the need for supplemental education. In 2000, I founded REACH Education Center. In a couple of years, I was offered a scholarship at the University of Miami and in 2003 was awarded a Masters in Special Education with ESOL Endorsement. That certain smile when a child masters a new skill continues to motivate me today!
